Wizz Air airline has deployed the second A-320 modern airplane to Kutaisi International Airport to perform flight from Spain, France, Czech Republic, Italy and Greece.
The airline will perform flights from Bucharest and Vienna too, Ketevan Aleksidze, director for Georgian Airports Association told the Commersant radio.
“Besides the existing novelties, Wizz Air plans to add new frequencies to Berlin and Dortmund. These new frequencies will increase tourists inflows and Georgian citizens living in the mentioned cities will be able to fly at preferential prices and arrive in Georgia.
As a result, the airline has created 36 new job places, many other indirect job places both in airport and neighboring fields. All these efforts make contribution to the welfare, tourism development and general economic development.
Moreover, direct flights will be performed from Bucharest to Kutaisi and, starting November, from Vienna to Tbilisi”. Ketevan Aleksidze said.
