United Nations Expects 4,8% Economic Growth in Georgia This Year

The United Nations expects 4.8% increase of the economy in Georgia, while in 2018-2019 the GDP growth rate is 4.3-4.3% – The new report of the UN Economic and Social Affairs Department says.

The report says that 2017 global economy grew by 3%, which is a record since 2011. Experts expect to maintain this pace for the next two years.

The main factors that led to the global GDP impact is sustainable growth in several developed countries and exit from recession of Argentina, Brazil, Nigeria and Russia.
