On April 11 chiefs of railway administrations of Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Georgia – Kanat Alpisbaev, Voitsekh Balchun, Javid Gurbanov and Mamuka Bakhtadze met with Vladimer Groissman, Prime Minister of Ukraine.
At the meeting the parties discussed efficiency of TransCaspian International Transportation Route (TMTM). The parties stressed the TMTM importance and necessity of intensification of cargo transportation in this direction. The parties agreed to continue cooperation to expand geography of routes under TMTM project and to enter EU countries.
Creating maximally convenient conditions for clients will increase competitive capacity in the corridor, namely, supply of complex services, optimization of obligatory procedures for cargo transportation, unification and introduction of single-window services, they noted.
Moreover, the parties also discussed TMTM infrastructure development and intensification of cargo flows in West-South and North-South transport corridors.
At the end of the meeting the Parties signed a due minute.
