According to National Food Agency, three varieties of Georgian honey were found with violations out of 18 samples. It is worth noting that number of violations are reduced year to year, the agency said.
According to European Instructions, since 2013 National Food Agency has examined 369 samples of homey and 82 samples were found to be failing standards (22%).
In 2016, based on exports support measures for EU, 18 samples were examined in addition and only 3 samples were found with violations”, National Food Agency statement reads.
