Russia Becomes Georgia’s Major Exports Market

In January-April 2017 Georgia’s exports to Russia made up 125 189 800 USD. This  volume of exports has made Russia Georgia’s number one exports market.

According to Geostat, national statistics service of Georgia, in the reporting period Georgia exported 54.5 million USD ferro-alloys.

Top five exports items also comprise: natural wines (24 million USD), mineral and spring waters (15.3 million USD), ethyl spirits/ strong drinks (6.5 million USD), filbert and other nuts (4.2 million USD).

We remind you that in 2016 Georgia’s exports to Russia constituted 206.2 million USD.
