“Renewable Energy Company of Georgia” has 17 memorandums with the Ministry of Energy in order to adopt the wind and solar stations, with seven winds and ten solar energy.
As deputy director of the company, Giorgi Bezhuashvili told Business Course that, one MW will cost about 100 million dollars to process these facilities.
“We understand the reality that the state is ready to carry out an eight-month policy that we consider and we want our station to be competitive. Which, along with other factors, will depend on the selection of the right territories, “Bezhuashvili said.
According to Bezhuashvili’s explanation, the company will try to ensure that the projects are competitive with the conditions set out by the Ministry of Energy.
“The positive side of the wind is that we have a large part of the processing in the winter months and the state will be buying it during this time”, Bezhuashvili said.
