Liberalization of visa regime, progress attained by Georgia in terms of implementing reforms envisaged by the Association Agreement as well as partnership with the EU were the main topics of meeting of Prime Minister and President of the European Council.
Visit of Giorgi Kvirikashvili to Brussels started with his meeting with Donald Tusk. The parties discussed prospects of successful finalization of visa liberalization process. Prime Minister thanked the President for his unremitting support to Georgia and expressed hope that Georgian citizens will enjoy visa-free regime with the EU countries in the near future.
Conversation also touched upon the situation in the region. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration David Bakradze.
