Passenger Turnover Grows by 26% in Mestia Airport

The passenger turnover at King Tamar airport in Mestia has increased by 26% year on year.

According to the civil aviation agency, King Tamar Airport in Mestia has handled 25.92% more passengers compared to the same period of 2015. According to the statistics, the airport served 685 passengers in the first quarter of 2016 and 544 passengers in the first quarter of 2015.

The airport served 212 passengers in 2014, down 223% compared to the reporting period.

It should be noted in the January to March period 2016 Georgian airports served 432 949 passengers, up 19.30% compared to the same period of 2015.
