Only 3% are spent on regulating educational and scientific infrastructure from the Ministry of Education budget. According to official data, costs spent on infrastructure increases year by year, which doesn’t match with growing budget of Ministry.
Education experts evaluate these data as a shortcoming of the budgeting process.
“The position and policy of the balance between physical and other types of investments must be protected by the state’s education system, although it does not appear to be in terms of balance. Expenses are quite low. Growth trend – from 2012 to 2012, the education budget has almost doubled, but it is less affected by infrastructural directions. I think it will be better to maintain more balance in this regard and make significant changes. “- says Education specialist Shalva Tabatadze to BM.
