Monetary Fund 6% Budget deficit predictions is too Conservative

The deputy minister of Economy, Nikoloz Gagua declared that the government does not even consider the 6% deficit.

“According to Monetary Fund predictions, rate of the economic growth will exceed 5% rate, which is quite high index. We think that when it comes to planning the budget, we will have more conservative calculations in order to not overestimate budget income.

“Monetary Fund predictions about 6% deficit is quite conservative. They don’t consider the events which are already planned, concerning limitations to administrative expenses. We will probably have much lower index in the next projects, and we don’t even consider that it can be 6%”- declared Gagua.
