Minimum Cost of Living in Georgia and its Region Countries

In June, the minimum cost of living decreased in Georgia and the minimum wage of the men of the working age amounted to 173 GEL.

According to Geostat data, the minimum wage decreased by 4.8 GEL in June compared with the previous month. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the minimum wage decreased by 1.3 GEL. Average customer’s cost of living is 153 GEL and 20 tetri.

The European Office of Radio Tavisupleba compared the subsistence minimum of the countries of the region to each other. The data includes the period of June-July 2018:
