‘Manavi-13’ is an in-construction oil discovery bore located in Sagarejo village in Georgia’s Kakheti region.
Georgia energy minister Kakha Kaladze and Kakheti governor Irakli Shiolashvili visited the construction site in Sagarejo today.
The bore is being drilled up to 4,500 meters in depth. Its estimated cost constitutes 21 mln USD. Constructing company Ninotsminda Oil Company Ltd has been operating in Georgia since 1996.
Ninotsminda Oil Company Ltd’s assets are managed by British and Dutch oil and gas companies CanArgo Limited and MND Georgia BV. In total, the company’s activity in Georgia has contributed 211, 800,000 USD to the local economy in the period of 1996-2014.
