Major Commodity Groups by Exports and Imports for Georgia

Copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 148 million, or 16 percent of total exports.

Exports of Motor cars totaled USD 75 million and its share in the total exports amounted to 8 percent. Ferro-alloys occupied the third place. Exports of this commodity group stood at USD 74 million and 8 percent of the total exports.

Capture

The top import commodity in January-June 2016 were Medicaments, imports of which amounted to USD 1614 million and 34 percent of the total imports from which USD 1486 million comes to the import of C hepatitis medicaments.

Petroleum and petroleum oils commodity group followed in the list with USD 243 million, or 5 percent of imports. Motor cars came third with USD 219 million (5 percent of imports).
