Leading international terminal operator SSA Marine has finished negotiations with the Anaklia Development Consortium on operating Anaklia Deep Sea Port, a new port being constructed on Georgia’s northern Black Sea coast.
SSA Marine, Inc., provides a full range of transportation services, including marine terminal and rail operations, equipment procurement, project management, personnel training, trucking, warehousing, information system management, feasibility studies and marketing support. SSA Marine is part of Carrix, Inc., based in Seattle, USA.
“We have finished negotiaitions successfully and are glad as well, that we became partners with first class companies such as Conti group and etc. SSA Marine is one of the largest port operator and it’s participation in Georgian project is highly important,”Bob Watters, SSA Marine Senior Vice President said.
“We are proud that we became partners with such perspective and ambitious project. Anaklia deep sea port will make Georgia as important logistic center, which will increase rate of cargo transportation in Central Asia and will also contribute in the development of south corridor,” he added.
