Lado Gurgenidze to Advise Ukrainian Gov’t on Reform Implementation

The former Prime Minister  of Georgia and co-owner of Liberty Bank  Lado Gurgenidze will advise the Ukrainian power on reforms  implementation.

The Chief of Presidential Administration Boris Lozhkin said in an   interview  with the  Ukrainian Pravda.

“I met him several times in the last three weeks. He will  hold   active consultations for  the Ukrainian authorities on reform issues. I consider him a good specialist. For example, Kvitaishvili  said that the Georgian reform experience was very good, but to implement health care reform in Ukraine copying  Georgian  is  wrong. Another approach is needed here, “- said Lozhkin.

Recall that the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had signed a decree granting Ukrainian citizenship to Ekaterina Zguladze, who is to be appointed Ukraine’s first deputy interior minister. Poroshenko said that the Ukrainian government has   a solid and strong political will of  a total transformation of the country. Alexander Kvitashvili has been appointed Ukraine’s  Health Minister .
