“Rating Company Fitch positively assigned the policy carried in the country from November, 2016”, – Dimitri Kumsishvili, minister of Finance has declared about it after the meeting with the representative of Rating Company Fitch.
The parties have discussed current macroeconomic environment in Georgia and throughout the region, main directions of country’s economic policy and the government’s 4-point plan. The First Deputy Prime-Minister declares that rating of the rating Agency is important for attraction of investments.
“We have a very productive discussion with Georgian delegation. They informed us about the ongoing economic reforms in the country. We have introduced to the initiatives which are being carried on in order to develop export markets in Georgia, which includes initiatives of foreign trade development and signing on an agreement on free trade with the China and other countries. We should envisage the mentioned in our research, which will be published linked to Georgia”, – Tony Stringner, Fitch Ratings Managing Director declared.
