Kazakhstan Called for the Shipping Companies to Use Georgian Corridor

Kazakhstan called for the shipping companies to use new Silk Road (via Georgia and Azerbaijan) while transporting cargo from Ukraine.

“From July 1, Kazakh Investment and Development Ministry gives recommendation on cargo transport by the following rout: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Caspian Sea, Aktau, as well as Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan and Uzbekista”, – the Ministry declares in the statement.

It should be noted, that President of Russia’s decree is not valid from July 1, which concerned to the cargo transportation from Ukraine via Russia to Kazakhstan. It should be noted, that restrictions are given to Russia on cargo transportation from June 1.

According to Kazakh Investments and Development Ministry, ferry complex of Aktau Port daily process  500 carriages and 1000 cargos by that time. The ministry declares, that the Port has the ability to get additional volume.

It should be noted, that food products, confectionary, furniture, construction materials and industrial goods are exported from Ukraine to Kazakhstan.
