Headwall Power International will finish research of solar energy potential in Georgia within a year.
The corresponding memorandum was signed between American company and Energy Ministry on Wednesday. According to the memorandum, Headwall Power International will carry feasibility study jointly with partner “Solar Energy Company” in Gardabani municipality, Gardabani city and village Kalinino, – on the purpose of its future construction, ownership and operation.
“Georgian population had energy problems through the years. Independent Georgia has never been energetically independent and it is time for revolutionary adjustment in our country’s energy sector. The sun, wind, water – these are those resources, which might be completely mastered in order to leave highly developed, safe and independent energy sector to the next generation”,- Kakha Kaladze, minister of Energy declares.
According to Ministry, Headwall Power International has a great experience in alternative energy direction.
