Indonesia wants to import agricultural products from Georgia.
Fadli Zon, the Vice-Speaker of Parliament of Indonesia declared about the issue, who met the first deputy minister of agriculture Nodar Kereselidze. Nodar Kereselidze focused on the growth of Georgian agricultural products and its export potential.
Indonesia wants to carry out import of hazelnut and mackerel crops, mineral waters and non-alcoholic beverages, fruit and vegetable juices as well as mineral and organic fertilizers. The matter also concerned to the possibility of coffee and tropical fruit imports from Indonesia to Georgia.
It was noted at the meeting that there is a great potential of organic and bio-tea production in Georgia. Indonesia has a great experience of tea production. Consequently, cooperation will be effective for both sides in this direction.
