Roads Department and the winner company of two international tenders “Cox”, signed an agreement. The document was signed by the head of Roads department, Aleksandre Tevdoradze and representative of German Project Company, Kox.
In the frame of the project, Dzirula-Kharagauli-Moliti-Fona-Chumateleti 50 km road will be built.
The project is to be prepared in 9 months and it will cost 1 231 566 USD. The project works will be financed by the development bank.
After the implimentation of the project, 20 villages will have better living conditions and will be better-connected to tourist places. Safety of driving will be increased as well.
According to the second agreement, Samtredia-Zugdidi 90 km road construction project plan will be ready in 9 months and it will cost 1 349 743 USD. It will be financed by World Bank.
