Healthcare and Social Direction Costs Increased by 50 Million

The budget of the capital city of 2019, ecological, healthcare and social direction expenses have increased significantly, – Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at today’s sitting of the municipality government.

Kakha Kaladze talked about the future budget of the capital city, which was sent to Tbilisi City Assembly last week for discussion.

“Last week we presented the initial version of the Tbilisi Municipality budget, which was followed by an inadequate response from the opposition. The total amount of the project we have submitted is 871 million, which includes the revenues of the City Hall as well as the so-called Equal Transfer component is included. Both components are 50 million GEL more in the 2019 budget, compared to the 2018 budget, “said Kakha Kaladze.

According to him, the budget for the next year’s budget is also envisaged for the voucher financing of kindergartens and completion of 11 new parks. The planned expenditure on infrastructural projects is 340 million GEL.

“We are actively working with the Ministry of Finance, healthcare and social spending costs are worth 21 million GEL and total 327 million. Part of this sum is provided for the voucher financing of kindergartens and 11 new gardens. I would like to tell the opposition, calm down and do not worry – all goes right and planned. The next year’s budget will be increased and the capital will enjoy with more financial resources “, – noted Tbilisi Mayor.
