Feasibility studies will be performed for constructing solar power stations in Georgia. The decision was unveiled at today’s government meeting.
The investor will explore 8 various locations during 18 months for constructing solar power stations, Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
“This will be one step forward for ensuring energy independence of our country. As you know recently we have unveiled a wind power station in Kareli District and this project is an important step for employing alternative energy sources and improving Georgia’s energy independence. We will follow this direction and we expect that investors will offer more interesting projects”, Prime Minister said.
