Georgia’s International Reserves Exceed 3bln USD

Georgia’s currency reserves rose by 110 million USD in September, following 23 million USD contraction in August and 18 million USD reduction in July.

As of October 1, Georgia’s currency reserves constituted 3.025bln USD (2.9bln USD as of September 1, 2017).

According to National Bank of Georgia (NBG), reserve assets also comprise special depository recipes (SDR – 204mln USD). Georgia’s reserve position at FMI is 14 100 USD.
