Georgian Spices Exported to USA and Hong Kong

Georgian spices and healing herbs are being exported to the USA and Hong Kong, FARCONI director Mamuka Alpaidze told BM.GE. The company produces spices under the brand Khomli, and supplies healing herbs for export in the form of raw materials.

“We have recently entered the USA and Hong Kong markets. We want to export our products to several countries, including to European and CIS countries. We sell products in finished and packed forms. We sell healing herbs and berries to pharmaceutical companies, tea and other food manufacturers. We plan to increase our sales by 10%-15% by the end of 2018”, Mamuka Alpaidze said.

The FARCONI company sells products on the domestic market, too.

“We collect herbs in various regions of Georgia. In 2016, we started preparing healing herbs for the domestic market and at this stage, we sell them at pharmacy networks under the brand FARCONI, while spices are exported under the brand Khomli. Our company is located in Kutaisi, near the mountain of Khomli,” Alpaidze said.
