Georgian Railways Added New Two-Story Trains, Manufactured in Switzerland

From today, passengers of Georgian Railways will travel with latest two-story, EU standardized trains manufactured in Switzerland.

According to press release of Georgian railways, four new trains are equipped with modern technologies and safety system.

Importantly, these trains will be fully flexible for the people with disabilities. Stadler Rail has positioned itself as a supplier complementing the global rail vehicle builders such as Alstom, Bombardier, and Siemens.

Stadler is focussing on the regional and suburban service market segments, the light regional express railway service, streetcars and intends to remain the global Number One in the rack railway vehicle market.
