Georgian pitch wine is in London.
However, 9 cellars were nominated at the international exhibition, which was arranged by Isabelle Lezheron, the famous French wine master: “Satsnakheili”, “Winery Nika”, “Gotsa’s Wines”, “Temi”, “The Twins’ Wine Caller”, “Manaveli”, “ Natenadze’s Wine” and “Khohbis Tsremelbi”.
George Samanishvili, head of Wine Agency focused attention on attractiveness of British market. The country is one of the largest importer and wine consumer in the world.
“Georgian wines, especially pitch, get more popular in Britain. However, Georgia is one of the oldest wine producer and counts over 8 000 vintages. There is much to offer as for sommeliers, as well as restaurants, because Georgian wine can be served easily with different dishes”, – said Isabelle Lezheron.
Special drawings have been arranged within the frame of the exhibition, which allows 2 importers to visit Georgia during the vintage throughout the wine tour.
Two-day exhibition has hosted over 200 natural, organic and biodynamic wines producer from the different countries.
