Adjara-based cooperative Bee Georgia started honey supply to the domestic market three years ago.
The beekeeping cooperative, which employs 19 female beekeepers, manufactures honey, honey vodka, , honey wine and honey of Georgian dried fruit. Honey of Georgian dried fruit is an innovative product on Georgian market, the cooperative director told BM.GE. This product attracted interest of Azerbaijani clients and the it will be sent to Azerbaijan in a month.
Bee Georgia products stirred interest in Hong Kong too. The company will export its products to Hong Kong in a month.
The cooperative has attracted required financial resources from ENAPRD and purchased various machineries. The cooperative director noted that the company output rose thanks to additional financial resources.
“We produce honey, honey vodka, honey wine and honey of Georgian dried fruits. The latter product was approved in Azerbaijan and we have already received orders. We will export honey of Georgian dried fruit to Azerbaijan in a month”, Bee Georgia chairperson Manana Bolkvadze said.
