Georgia may export agriulure products, including fruits, vegetables, mineral water, fish and sheep to Saudi Arabia.
Georgian Agriculture Minister Otar Danelia introduced 21 Georgian agtriculture products for exports to the Saudi Arabia agriculture ministry delegation.
Georgia makes focus on diversification of exports markets. Consequently, cooperation with Saudi Arabia is of crucial importance, Otar Danelia noted.
„Saudi Arabia is one of the major markets. Exports of Georgian agriculture sector will be of crucial importance for development of state economy and agriculture sector development”, Otar Danelia noted.
The Saudi Arabia agriculture Ministrey Delegation was led by Saudi Arabia Deputy Agriculture Minister doctor Emad Al Daiji.
At the meeting wthe delegation was aupdated on Georgia’s agrarian poitential and the parties also discussed bilateral trade-economic cooperation opportunities.
The Saudi Arabia delegation will stayed in Georgia for a week and visited the National Food Agency, the Agriculture Ministry scientific-research center, the Agriculture Ministry laboratories and received information on their working process. The delegation also visited regions of Georgia to see demonstration land plots, enterprises and farmers.
