Georgia Recognized as fifth Most Westernized of ex-Soviet Countries

Experts from StrategEast, a U.S. strategic center for political and diplomatic solutions, have recognized Georgia as fifth most westernized countries among post-Soviet states.

Georgia scored 62 points, while Estonia 93, Lithuania 85, Latvia 82 points out of 100. Georgia is followed by Ukraine and Moldova with 54 and 56 points respectively.

The least westernized countries are Tajikistan (19.5 points) and Turkmenistan (17.5 points). When compiling the rating, the experts assessed the political, economic, legal, and cultural situation, as well as lifestyle in 14 countries (excluding Russia).
