Georgia Promises Cargo Transportation to the Participants of Silk Road in the Shortest Period of Time

Georgia promises to support cargo transportation to the participants of Silk Road in the shortest period of time – Minister of Economy made a report on the country’s strategic location within the frame of the global forum “Belt and Road”.

George Gakharia introduced ongoing projects in Georgia, which will play a big role in the development project of “Belt and Road”, including Deep Water Sea Port in Anaklia, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Project, Railway Modernization, Construction of the Highway and etc.

“We believe that Georgia will have a special role with its strategic location, well-developed transport and customs infrastructure. It will facilitate development of freight transport in the shortest time from China to Europe and Vice Versa,”- Gakharia told the participants of the session.
