Georgia Plans to Attract more Tourists from Azerbaijan

In 2016, the Georgian government will launch a program to attract tourists from Azerbaijan. According to Oxu.Az, the due statement came from the press-center of Georgia Gaming Congress. Georgia’s legal casinos and reasonable prices attract the citizens of neighboring countries. In addition, the Georgians rent out a lot of budget-priced housing.

According to Nahid Bagirov, representing the Azerbaijan’s Tourism Assisation, on New Year’s Day the citizens of our country visit Georgia about by 15% more often. The Georgian government reported that Azerbaijani tourists come to Tbilisi and other cities mainly for 3-4 days and spend about $200 per trip. The flow of visitors in 2015 increased by almost 10%.
