Georgia Launches Negotiations with Hong-Kong on Free Trade Agreement

Georgia plans to sign Free Trade Agreement with Hong-Kong after China.

According to Ministry of Economy, first round of negotiations is already opened. The meeting is held in Hong-Kong. Georgia regards, that negotiations should be continued through 2 years.

To remind, Georgia has finalized negotiations concerning the free trade agreement with China in a remarkably short period of time – in 7 months, implying that the world’s largest market with 1.4 billion customers is now open for Georgian products. 95% of Georgian products will be exported on Chinese market exempt from customer duties.
