According to Irakli Kashibadze the chief of Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), Georgia has joined the list of the countries that have developed rapidly in the direction of the Global Innovation Index.
As a result, Georgia got promoted and ranked 64th place from the position of 73.
Based on the statement Irakli Kashibadze made, by taking into account the projects planned for the current year, Georgia will move forward even further.
“The government of Georgia carries out active capital investments and pays great attention to the development of innovation and technology.
Georgia has joined the list of those countries that have developed rapidly in the direction of Innovation Index.
In addition, Georgia has improved its data quite in a lot of aspects”, – said Kashibadze.
He noted that the assessment components are: Institutes; Human capital; Infrastructure; Market sophistication and so on.
