In Georgia Export Declined by 7 percent in July 2016

According to preliminary data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in July 2016, compared to July 2015, export of goods increased by 7% (13.4 million dollars), while import decreased by 0.2% (1.6 million dollar).

In case we compare the data of export of the year 2016 to the year 2014, it is lowered by 29% (72 million).

In July 2016, export of goods amounted to 173.6 million dollars while import made up 667.8 million dollars. The negative trade balance equals 494 million dollars, that is 12 million dollars more of the negative balance was in July 2015.

As for the overall indicator in January-June, export is decreased by 12%, while import increased by 25%.
