Georgia Exports Cattle Leather To EU

Cattle leather has been exported to Greece from Georgia. National Food Agency has already issued a due exports certificate.

“Unprocessed skin of cattle, after wool, is the second nonfood product of animal origin. The mentioned fact reaffirms that that EU recognized reliability of Georgia”, Demna Khelaia, deputy head of National Food Agency, noted.

Georgian wool was exported to Great Britain in January 2017. Moreover, in December 2016 EU completed formal procedures and now Georgia is able to export Georgian honey to EU market.
