‘Georgia has established its place in the conception named modern Silk Road’ says the Minister of Finance of Georgia, Mamuka Bakhtadze.
‘More than 2000 delegates are involved in today’s forum. This is unique. Every serious company of East-West hub takes part in the forum. I think it will allow us to get particular advantages. Several contacts will be signed including a very significant agreement that will be signed by Anaklia Consortium. I would like to stress the cooperation agreement with the largest Chinese shipping company and Georgian Railway,’ Mamuka Bakhtadze has remarked.
‘In general, the platform will allow us to present our country’s transit and economic potential in a better way. As far as you know the government invests in the development of infrastructure. I would like to put an emphasis on East-West highway, Georgian Railway modernization project, deep port in Anaklia, etc.,’ he has noted.
‘We have remarked for several times that development of port infrastructure is an absolute priority for Georgia. as for the second railway direction crossing Georgia it will simply allow us to add more synergy to it,’ the Finance Minister has said.
