Gazprom Uses Georgia As A Transit Country: Economy Minister

The Minister of Economy Dimitri Kumsishvili talked with reporters about existed agreement with Gazprom.

According to the Minister Gazprom uses Georgia to transit gas to Georgia’s neighboring country Armenia.

Negotiations with largest Russian energy company Gazprom is being carried on because our country is used to transit their gas to Armenia, consequently there are some obligations to find out how costs of this transit will be covered. Simultaneously negotiations refer to other technical details.
