Georgian Fruits Company plans to launch fruits processing and production of fruits spread. The company plans to enlarge production in 2017.
The company will purchase special machineries in January 2017 and production will start in 2017. Fruit spread will be exported to Russia. The project’s investment value is 1.4 million USD, Giorgi Akhaladze, the company director, said.
“As to product sales, we are conducting preliminary negotiations. The Russian party has serious interest. But we want to satisfy European market standards for product quality.
Moreover, we will offer fruit spreads to domestic companies too for children food”, Giorgi Akhaladze said. The plant will process about 5 000 tons of fruits on season.
