Foreign Trade Turnover Increased by 22%

In January-April, 2018 foreign trade turnover in Georgia (without undeclared trade) reached 3 786.2 million USD, amounted to 22.2 percent more than the corresponding period of the previous year.

Exports amounted to 961.4 million USD (22.0 percent more), and import 2 824.8 million USD (22.3 percent more). According to the preliminary data of the statistics service, the negative trade balance in January-April was 1 863.5 million USD, which was 49.2 percent of foreign trade turnover.
