Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri has held high-level bilateral meetings within the framework of the annual meeting and business forum of the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
According to the Finance Ministry, Nodar Khaduri met with the EBRD Managing Director for Turkey, Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. The two sides discussed EBRD current and future projects in Georgia.
‘Cooperation between Georgia and the European Bank is founded on many years of relations. Currently we are working on several important issues, including Georgian government’s economic strategy. We are thinking about what role we can play in its implementation.
In addition, it is very important that we are looking forward to the next year when Tbilisi will host the annual meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the first time in the Caucasus’, the EBRD Managing Director said.
The Finance Minister also met with the Vice President of Europe’s Investment Bank. At today’s session, the Finance Minister was elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
