Export From Georgia has Increased by 28.3% This Year

According to National Statistics Office of Georgia,External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declaredtrade) of Georgia amounted to USD 7567.5 million in January-September 2017 (preliminary data), grew by 12.1 percent from the same period of the previous year.

The value of export increased by 28.3 percent reaching USD 1940.3 million, while the import grew by 7.4 percent and amounted to USD 5627.2 million with respect to January-September of the previous year.

The trade deficit equaled USD 3686.9 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 48.7 percent.
