OPIC officially named Georgia among the priority countries and discussed Georgia as an important partner for OPIC three weeks ago.
According to OPIC’s managing director, OPIC will focus on investment projects in Georgia and OPIC considers the Partnership Fund as an important and strategic partner in Georgia.
The focus was made on investment fund Gazelle Finance, founded by the Partnership Fund and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) at the meeting, which finances various business projects in Georgia.
At the meeting held at OPIC’s headquarters, parties discussed cooperation in different fields: energy, infrastructure, industry, high technologies and communications. The sides also discussed the visit of American business circles in Georgia, which is scheduled for the beginning of the next year.
