European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced on the economic growth forecast to Georgia.
According to Bruno Balvanera, EBRD’s Regional Director, exact figures will be named at the annual meeting in London by the next week. However, it already known, that forecast index will be higher comparing to 2,6% named several months ago (the matter concerns to 3% growth).
Balvanera noted, that Georgia has a chance to attract significant funding, as European Bank plans to implement unprecedented number of projects. To remind, Georgian government expects 3% growth as well. However, forecast of IMF is more pessimistic and supposes GDP growth of 2,5% in 2016.
