EBRD Expects Georgian Economic Growth Pace to Increase in Coming Years

“Access to finances is very important for businessmen in such countries as Georgia”, the EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti told Business Course. Business companies need a simple access to finances to become competitive and penetrate EU market.

“EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line provides this opportunity to business companies so as they have an access to finances and re-equip their enterprises. Similar projects will promote Georgia’s integration with EU.

Georgian economy is being developed at good paces. We believe this pace will be accelerated in the coming years”, the EBRD President noted. 

On September 6 the EBRD president will participate in the investors board meeting. This board is an independent consulting body at Georgian Prime Minister.
