EBRD Conference to Mull over Anaklia Seaport and Anaklia City Projects

Anaklia Seaport and Anaklia City projects will be discussed at Outlook on Georgia 2017 conference in London, which is organized by EBRD.

The conference will be jointly hosted by EBRD and Emerging Europe. The event is dedicated to Georgia’s economic development issues. Objective of the conference is to overview Georgia’s new investment opportunities and outline Georgia’s economic potential. Anaklia Development Consortium is a key partner for the EBRD-organized conference.

Anaklia City executive director Keti Bochorishvili is one of the speakers at the conference. She will introduce the Anaklia project details: “Georgia on the Crossroad of Silk Road: Opportunities for Infrastructural and Regional Integration”.

The conference will make emphasis on Georgia as a regional hub and crossroad and the perspectives for major infrastructural projects.

“It is important for us to foster outlining Anaklia project and the whole economic potential of Georgia. EBRD-organized conference is one of the best platforms to attain this objective”, Anaklia City executive director Keti Bochorishvili said.

“EBRD-Emerging Europe Outlook on Georgia“ is a part of series of economic conferences, where EBRD and invited partners discuss investment environment and economic potential of Central and Eastern Europe.

Anaklia Seaport construction works will start on December 20, 2017. The first phase will launch operation in 2021. The project will be implemented in 9 phases. Total investment value of the project is 2.5bln USD.
