Double Taxation Prevention Agreement with Lichtenstein Comes into Force

The Georgia-Lichtenstein agreement on Prevention  of Double Taxation on Revenues and Capital and Tax Evasion, has come into force.

Main objective of the mentioned agreement is to foster economic development and attracting investments between the two countries.

The agreement text is based on model of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and it determines taxation principles between the countries.

At the same time, objective of the agreement is to prevent taxation by establishing international standards for information exchange.

Currently, Georgia has enacted the same agreement with 54 countries.
