A delegation of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will visit Georgia on July 18-21 as part of the agreement between the UNIDO director general Li Yong and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Dimitri Qumsishvli.
The UNIDO delegation aims to develop midterm program for assistance of Georgia by outlining priority technical assistance projects for financial support.
The mission will also specify the issue of developing the industrial development strategy and implementation of the project as part of the Country Programming Framework.
For the purpose of drawing a co-financing component, the mission plans to hold meetings with bilateral donors and international organizations.
The delegation’s visit is coordinated by the industrial development group of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
