Countries of Trans-Caspian transportation route are working to make effective steps in order to rise competitiveness, one of the most important, along with the infrastructure are joint competitive tariffs.
Members of working group have already discussed tariff issue in Baku, – news agency Trend reports, relying on Nadir Azmamedov, head of PR of Azerbaijan Railway.
The workshop was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
“The sides have discussed introduction of competitive tariffs on the whole route and container shipping rules on the route of Ostiki / Altingeli – Aktau-Baku (aliati) – Batumi. Working plan of the recently created Trans-Caspian international transportation consortium has been discussed at the meeting a bit earlier”, – Azmamedov declared.
