The Georgian lari’s shock devaluation has been quite problematic for business. The lari’s floating rate is a factor hindering business activities, as it is difficult to forecast precisely, so business refrains both from investing and taking real actions. George Chirakadze, President of the Business Association of Georgia, told journalists.
“It is very important to stabilize the exchange rate, in some ways a bit of stabilization takes place, although this is not the rate that suits each of us, we really want the rate to lower, but nevertheless, its stabilization is very important for the economy and a stable work, “- says Chirakadze.
Chirakadze notes that the businessmen want to see that the National Bank will do everything to maintain stability in the country.
