Blueberry Garden is Grown on 8.4 ha in Imereti

Company “Agro+” has grown blueberry garden in Imereti region within the project frame of “Plant the Future”.

Total area of the garden amounts to 8.4 ha in village Gubistskali, Tskaltubo region. The company received state funding of 100 000 GEL for growing blueberry garden and arrangement of irrigation system.

It should be noted, that multi-cultural variety of fruit orchards has been grown on 86.2 ha in total within the frame of program “Plant the Future”. While the funding has made up 454 055 GEL.

However, total area for orchard growing and irrigation system totals to 1 519 ha within the whole Georgia, while funding volume does not exceed 7,8 million GEL.
